What is included in the rental fee?

The basic rental fee includes exclusive use of the grounds and barn for the rental period. This use includes ceremonies and photography. There are no additional fees, but there is a requirement for the client to obtain liability insurance coverage for the event day.

How long do I have to use the Salem Herbfarm Venue?

The starting rental fee starts at five hours. A maximum of one hour may be purchased at the contract signing for a additional $1000. Three hours are allowed for setup prior to the event rental period. All events must end by 10PM. At the end of the contract rental time, one hour is provided for breakdown and cleanup, by which time all guests and service staff should have departed The Salem Herbfarm.

does the salem herbfarm provide catering or may i arrange my own?

The Salem Herbfarm does not cater events. We have a limited number of caterers that we recommend to service your special event. Since each caterer is familiar with our layout and facilities, this helps to ensure that your special day is stress-free with the highest level of quality and service possible. Working directly with the caterer, you can customize your menu with great detail and to your personal tastes. Whether you want an elaborate sit down dinner, an elegant buffet or custom stations presenting the latest culinary delights, our partners will help you create the reception of your dreams.

CAN I HAVE MY EVENT CATERED BY A CATERER NOT ON THE SALEM HERBFARM LIST?

Although we feel you will be very happy with any of the caterers with whom we partner, you can make your arrangements with any catering service of your choice. We do require that any catering service with which we are not familiar provide a representative to tour our facility at least 30 days prior to your event to confirm that their expectations meet with our facilities.

how many on-sight parking spaces are available?

Our parking lot can accommodate 65 cars. We will provide a parking attendant for one hour before the event start time at no additional charge. Parking along Route 85 in front of the venue is strictly prohibited.
