This is the second year The Salem Herbfarm has been named a winner of The Knot Best of Weddings awards.
In its seventeenth annual year, The Knot continues its long-standing tradition of supporting local wedding professionals with The Knot Best of Weddings 2023, an annual by-couples, for-couples guide to the top wedding vendors across the country.
To determine the winners, The Knot analyzed millions of its user reviews across various vendor categories—planners, venues, musicians, florists, photographers, caterers and more—to find the highest-rated vendors of the year. These winners represent the best of the best wedding professionals that engaged couples should consider booking for their own unique weddings.
“The Salem Herbfarm is a truly spectacular venue. We honestly cannot believe how lucky we are to have found it. We got married in June and it was STUNNING with so many gorgeous flowers everywhere—the landscaping is amazing and it was just truly an incredibly beautiful place to get married. What might be less obvious from photos is that the space is also extremely open, which makes for a really magical vibe for guests to mingle during the cocktail hour and reception of a wedding. There are so many lovely spaces for guests to spread out and enjoy each other and the beautiful venue and SO many of our guests were raving to us about how perfect the space was as a result. We did the reception in the outdoor greenhouse space and loved it so much; it was just perfect for dinner and dancing on a warm summer night!!! We also loved working with Joe, Elizabeth, and Hannah. They were all so kind and warm and relaxed/accommodating, and also super professional and responsive. They always answered questions right away and had clear and reliable communication. And on the day of the wedding they were so helpful in working with our people (planner, vendors, family, etc) to make our vision come to life!!! We honestly couldn’t recommend this venue more strongly and think it was a truly incredible find/deal. We will forever be grateful to the Salem Herbfarm!!! Thank you!!!”"

I could go on for days about the details and how beautiful it is..alot of hard work definitely goes into keeping it that beautiful, but what stands out the most are the owners. Joe and his daughter are some of the most welcoming and wonderful people I have ever met. They put endless hard work into making sure every detail is perfect. They are both very responsive, professional and just amazing. They made every process feel stress free. I'll never forget the first time I met Joe and we saw his herb farm. I walked in and fell in instantly in love. He took the time to show us around explain some fun back history and was very pleasant to talk to.
